Lotte Fine Chemical announced the extension of its exclusive supply contract for their AdBlue product EUROX with Mercedes-Benz Korea and Daimler Truck Korea. Through this contract extension, EUROX will continue to be the OEM AdBlue supplied as a genuine part for all passenger and commercial vehicles sold officially by Mercedes-Benz Korea and Daimler Truck Korea in South Korea.
This renewed contract includes a new premium 3.5-liter product specifically designed for passenger vehicles, which significantly reduces impurities and features a spout with a patented design and an integrated pouch container for easy refueling, particularly convenient for female drivers and long-distance journeys.
EUROX holds the permanent trademark for 'AdBlue,' an international quality standard set by the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA). It is recognized for its quality and value, supplying OEM parts to global automakers including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Scania, MAN, Peugeot-Citroën, Nissan, FCA, as well as domestic automakers like Hyundai-Kia and Tata-Daewoo.
AdBlue, used in diesel vehicles' SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, plays a crucial role in reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx), a major contributor to atmospheric pollution.
